Community Environmental Project Worker - Job Role
Community Environmental Project Worker Hours: 25 hrs/wk – Flexible Pay: £25,000 per annum, pro rata Contract Type: 12 months Fixed Term Place: 23, Llys Dylan, Maesgeirchen, BANGOR, Gwynedd. LL57 1LT (Covering Maesgeirchen and Tan y Bryn)
Background: Invest Local is a Big Lottery funded, 10-Year initiative targeting 13 deprived communities in Wales. Maesgeirchen is one of the thirteen communities chosen to receive 1 million pounds over a 10-Year period. Following a 4-month consultation period in 2016, Invest Local Maesgeirchen (now MaesNi) is now ready to move into the next phase which will see some of the consultation findings realized. To this end, the Invest Local Maesgeirchen steering group have decided to employ 2 x workers (1 x community development worker / 1 x Environmental projects officer) to support and facilitate the delivery of various sustainable projects.

This is a Part-time post, working 25 hours per week. It is a 12 month fixed term contract from the date of employment.
